Attorney John Wuich represents the city in the prosecution of Building, Zoning, Sanitation, and General Ordinance violations in administrative hearings, including defending petitions for review of administrative decisions in circuit court. He also represents the city in code compliance, demolition/repair, abandonment, and foreclosure matters in circuit court. Attorney Wuich advises the Rockford Police Department and Neighborhood Standards Division in regard to the city's efforts to reduce blight. He is also responsible for advising the city's Historic Preservation Commission.
Attorney Wuich graduated from Monmouth College with a Communication major and a Political Science minor. He earned his JD from Northern Illinois University in 2016. He is currently a member of the Winnebago County Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
